BEAMS
The first BEAMS shop opened in 1976 in a 21.5-square-meter space, later becoming BEAMS HARAJUKU. A pioneer in lifestyle retail, BEAMS curated fashion and homeware with a UCLA dorm vibe, originally called American Life Shop BEAMS. Today, it operates 150 stores in Japan and branches in Taipei, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Bangkok.
